Design
I'm Ruchi, a UX designer driven by curiosity, creativity, and a knack for turning ideas into enjoyable experiences through problem-solving. My journey into UX was anything but straightforward—I started out in computer engineering, and while I enjoyed the problem-solving aspect of coding, it didn’t excite me the way design and creativity did. It was a friend’s casual suggestion to look into UX, and what began as a bit of research soon had me completely immersed. The more I learned about it, the more I realised how UX brought together my interests in design, technology, and psychology. Before I knew it, I was packing my bags to pursue my Master’s degree.
University was a whirlwind of exciting new experiences. Each step in the UX process unfolded into new ways of thinking—systems, methods, frameworks—all leading back to a single goal: designing better experiences for people. To me, UX is about constant exploration—understanding people, testing ideas, and crafting impactful solutions designed to bridge the gap in how people interact with technology. I approach design with a growth mindset - learning from feedback, looking at things from fresh perspectives and refining my skills to deliver better outcomes.
Outside of work, I’m big on collecting experiences. I’m often off exploring new places, chasing adventures, enjoying a diverse mix of music, or picking up a random new hobby just to see where it takes me. Right now, I’m training for my first half marathon - taking in London with every step.
I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and I remain committed to growing as a designer—always curious, always learning, and always pushing the creative boundaries of my work.
